Kinetic Presents:
Good Friday (Remix): Rhythm, Rupture & Resilience Friday, April 3, 2026
Join us for our Good Friday (Remix) presentation, Rhythm, Rupture & Resilience. This year’s event will be an immersive evening of live music, poetry, and dance reimagining Jesus' final words for our contemporary context. Framed against the backdrop of today's enduring inequities, this live creative arts experience will weave gospel, jazz, movement, and word into a ritual of resistance and hope.
Featuring a powerful roster of artists, this multimedia experience fuses sound, story, and ritual to hold lament and longing alongside defiant hope—naming the realities of racism, policing, incarceration, and other contemporary forms of injustice, while opening space for beauty, repair, and shared imagination.
Location: BRIC Artists Studio, Brooklyn
